How can you help?
  • Sponsor The Children
How does Afrikaya Sponsorship Work? We ask you, our sponsor, for a regular monthly donation. We do not ask you to sponsor individual children because we want to protect children by not identifying individual children. This money goes straight into the school fund and will be spent on whatever the school needs most at that time, allowing each child to directly benefit from this donation and ensuring that all children are treated equally. For Afrikaya's Child Protection Policy, please click here.

  • Book A School Visit
Kaya Drum Classes and/or African Dancing Classes:
Every child should be given the opportunity to have a Kaya experience!! The Kaya Programme has been running successfully for over five years in schools, youth groups, corporations, community events and music festivals throughout the UK. We run fun, engaging, highly contagious, fully inclusive, workshops in drumming, dance, art and yoga. Let our experienced team of musicians, artists, dancers and therapists engage your children and give them a creative feast they will never forget!!

  • Come Along To A Community Drum Circle

"A Drum Circle is a community music-making event where people sit or stand in a circle while playing world percussion instruments.  People play improvised rhythms. Music is created in the moment. Instead of a teacher, there is a facilitator – someone with musical experience and facilitation training who leads from the center of the circle. In the Drum Circle, there is no audience and everyone is part of the performance."
